President Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, met with Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where both leaders held a closed-door discussion.
While official details of the meeting remain undisclosed, this newspaper learnt it may be linked to the upcoming Anambra governorship election, in which Soludo is seeking a second term.
Notably, Soludo arrived wearing a cap emblazoned with Tinubu’s infinity logo — a gesture seen as an endorsement of the President, who is widely expected to pursue another term in office.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Anambra governorship poll is slated for 8 November 2025.
