Oyo State Police have arrested an officer involved in the shooting death of 14-year-old Kehinde Alade during a traffic chase in Ibadan.
The incident occurred when the student’s father allegedly tried to evade arrest, leading police to fire at the vehicle’s tires.
A stray bullet struck Kehinde, who later died at the hospital. A thorough investigation has been launched, with police promising transparency and justice.
