Nigeria’s foremost anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday, May 6, granted bail to Martin Otse, a social media influencer and activist.
Otse, popularly known as VerDarkMan was granted an administrative bail by the commission.
In a statement released on its Facebook page, the EFCC said Otse will remain in the commission’s custody until he perfects his ball condition.
The commission had earlier noted that Otse was arrested following multiple grave allegations against him.
It also stated that the allegations against Otse bordered on financial crimes and that he had, on several occasions, ignored invitations sent to him by the EFCC.
