Valentine Ozigbo joined APC without a single supporter – Nicholas Ukachukwu

The 2025 Anambra State governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nicholas Ukachukwu has explained why one of the party’s aspirants, Valentine Ozigbo lost in the primary election.

Speaking as a guest on Arise Television, Ukachukwu said Ozigbo joined the APC without a single supporter from his former party, Labour Party.

Stating that there are factors that determine whether a product will be consumed by people, a former member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Ukachukwu said he joined with APC with his numerous loyalists.

He also noted that party members even at the ward level know what product they want, especially when it comes to delivering on their needs at their various wards.

“I transitioned from APGA to APC with a faction of the party loyal to me. The APC graciously granted a waiver for members who had not spent the mandatory six months in the party to participate in the primaries, and this waiver was also extended to Valentine Ozigbo.

“They now said that they have given waiver to anyone who has joined the party and has not stayed up to six months to vote and be voted for. And Valentine also known because they gave him waiver to contest.

”At that point who is APC and who is not APC? Anyone who has joined APC and has been revalidated.

“It is about him not having a crowd because he joined APC without any followers,” Ukachukwu said.
