Tinubu’s Second Term Is Assured – Akpabio

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Nigerians to pray ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2027 election.

Akpabio made the call during the special Iftar/Lent dinner organized by the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) in Abuja.

He said the president should rest assured that his second term is guaranteed.

Reacting to moves by the opposition to unseat the president in the 2027 presidential election, Akpabio said the APC will win more seats across Nigeria in the next poll.

He assured members of the party that they would all work to ensure victory for the APC.

His words, “Can we say amen! We will offer prayers for our party, that yes, indeed, victory shall be ours in 2027.

“Can we say a loud amen? And we will also pray for Mr. President that his second term is assured. Can we shout a loud amen!” Akpabio said.

Further speaking, the Senate President said APC will continue to secure more seats for governors across the 36 states of the country.

“On our part in the parliament, ours is to continue to add the numbers to you.

“We just recently sent one of our own in the Senate to go and take care of Edo State. Is that not a good thing?” he added.
