Petrol Retail Price Drops Nationwide

A private oil marketing company MRS Oil Nigeria Plc has announced a reduction in the retail price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.

In an announcement on its official X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, MRS said it petrol stations across Lagos will sell petrol for N925 per litre.

This price cut comes on the heels of a similar reduction by the Dangote Refinery, MRS’ partner, which lowered the ex-depot price to N890 per litre just days ago.

The company has also announced regional price adjustments, with petrol pump prices set at N935 per litre in the South West, N945 in the North, and N955 in the East.

MRS added that “the prices may vary, but one thing stays the same—we give you high-quality fuel that keeps your engine running at its best.”

The company also encouraged customers to report any stations selling above the listed price, assuring that they are “just a call or email away.”
