JUST IN!!! Kogi Governor Presents N3 billion to communities

Usman Ododo, the governor of Kogi State on Monday, December 30, presented N3 billion to 80 communities in the state.

The governor made the presentation of cash gifts to over 2,381 direct beneficiaries across 80 different communities in Kogi.

The beneficiaries, the governor said are spread across 170 groups affected by climate change in the communities.

He said the funds shared among the beneficiaries are part of the Community Revolving Fund under the Agro-climate Resilience in Semi-arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project.

The project, the governor explained is a partnership with the World Bank Group with an initiative, he said, aligns with his administration’s goal of ensuring food security and promoting sustainable agricultural practices in Kogi.

How also commended President Bola Tinubu for prioritizing sustainable agriculture and supporting the welfare of households across the nation.
