The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC has reaffirmed its commitment to advocating for workers in Rivers State.
Joe Ajaero, the NLC National President, made the statement during the NLC National Executive Council meeting in Rivers State on Friday.
Ajaero also warned that the NLC would not stand by while workers suffer in the state.
He assured that the NLC would vigorously oppose any actions that might interfere with the payment of workersβ salaries in Rivers State.
The NLC president urged the judiciary to avoid actions that could lead to self-destruction, warning against decisions that could destabilize the state.
