Separatist militants, Black Marine have killed 9 Cameroon Gendarmerie following the group invasion of Abana, formerly the headquarters of Bakassi.

Some of the Gendarmerie retreated before the fled.

Meanwhile, a notice has been sent to the Divisional Officer of Isangele subdivision to return to Cameroon or face the same faith with the DO of Idabato.
