Some residents of Oyo on Tuesday joined their counterparts in other states to stage the 1st October protest against bad governance.
The protest tagged “EndBadGovernance“, according to the organisers, was aimed at protesting the widespread social and economic challenges facing the citizens.
DAILY POST reports that the protesters gathered at Mokola roundabout in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital to demonstrate.
The state coordinator of the Take It Back Movement, Solomon Emiola, addressing the government during the protest lamented the hardship being faced by citizens.
He stated that the 64th Independence anniversary is not worth celebrating considering the current state of the nation after 64 years of independence
