Arochuwu-Ohafia Road Was Constructed by PTF Not Okpara, Rehabilitated By Orji Kalu - Ohafia APC Chairman, Nwosu

The Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, Prince Emma Nwosu has said that the Arochukwu-Ohafia Road was actually constructed by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

In a video seen by Igbere TV, the APC Chairman, Mr Nwosu said it is important to set the record straight because of many lies being peddled on social media over the road.

Mr Nwosu revealed that he aligned with Reverend Samson Okoro Elekwa, a cleric with the Baptist Church who said that the road was not constructed by Michael Okpara,

According to him, “My name is Prince Emma Nwosu. I am a native of Akanu, Ohafia and this is the axis of the road Arochukwu-Ohafia being talked about.”

“I am the APC Chairman of Ohafia and I am here to align with Mr Elekwe. The road was attracted by Professor Chime Ikokwu of then PTF and was executed when Former President, Muhammadu Buhari was the Chairman of PTF.”

He, however, said that the PTF couldn’t complete the construction of the road because of the death of Sani Abacha who was then Head of the State which made Sen Kalu who later became governor of Abia State to continue with the construction of the road by providing Palliatives which made the road motorable during his era.
