… National Youth Leader, Delaw celebrates Judgement
A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered Edozie Njoku to immediately stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and his cohorts as members of the National Working Committee of APGA.
In a statement made available to IGBERE TV on Friday by the National Youth Leader of the party, Comr Onyebuchi Chukwu, (Delaw) said the court’s order is a significant victory for the party.
According to him, “this is good because neither the Supreme Court, Appeal Court, nor Federal High Court had ever declared Njoku as the national Chairman of APGA.”
“Henceforth, if Njoku disobeys the court order, he will be charged with contempt of court and he knows the legal meaning of that.”
“APGA is confident in Governor Soludo’s leadership as the national leader of APGA and Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa as the national Chairman.”
“This development comes as a relief to APGA members, who have been concerned about the leadership crisis in the party.”
“With this court order, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa remains the national Chairman until the supreme gets done with the case before it”, he said.
