The Anglican Primate of Nigeria, Most Rev. Henry Ndukuba, has faulted the persistent attacks on military personnel, describing it as ‘a cancer on the nation.’
Ndukuba, while speaking at St Matthew Anglican Church in Abuja on Sunday during his episcopal visit to the Maitama and Mpape Archdeaconry of the church, urged Nigerians to stand strong in their faith and trust in God’s intervention in the face of national challenges.
He stressed the importance of justice, dialogue, and meeting the needs of ordinary people, pointing out that leadership should prioritise the welfare of citizens.
The cleric encouraged Christians to remain faithful and patient, urging the government to address the root causes of agitation and dissidence, even in difficult times
