Peter Obi's Supporter, Aisha Yesufu Refuses To Stand During Recitation Of National Anthem

Nigerian activist and Peter Obi’s Supporter in 2023 Presidential Election, Aisha Yesufu, has publicly rejected the newly adopted national anthem, choosing to sit during its recitation at a recent event.

Yesufu had shared the video of her protest with the caption #NotMyNationalAnthem on her X account on Friday.

This move comes after President Bola Tinubu signed the National Anthem Bill 2024 into law, reinstating the old anthem “Nigeria, We Hail Thee”
