Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation, has said that President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima will now pay the requisite fees at tollgates whenever they use the country’s airports.
He stated that this became required following the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Abuja on Tuesday, which determined that airport customers would no longer be exempt from paying tollgate costs.
Keyamo had previously provided a memorandum claiming that the government was losing more than 82% of the revenue it should have received from the e-tags that allow entrance to the tollgates.
