Many are feared dead and missing as suspected Fulani herdsmen are currently attacking several communities in Agatu and Apa Local Government Areas of Benue State.
Communities being attacked include Odugbeho in Agatu LGA, while those in Apa include Ikobi, Edikwu-Olekle, Opaha and Obinda-Odugbo.
Some bodies that have been recovered so far include those of Tijani Ene’Ogekwu from Odugbeho and Simon Ojiji from Ikobi.
A woman identified as Ene Aniheli from Ikobi was seriously wounded and is currently receiving medical treatment.
At the time of filing this report, the youth of the communities were trying their best to repel the attacks
