The Oyo government demolishes the suspected sponsor of Yoruba nation agitators’ property
Modupe Onitiri-Abiola, one of the suspected organizers of Saturday’s attack on the government headquarters, owned a structure that the Oyo State government demolished.
In an attempt to seize control of the House of Assembly, a group claiming to be agitators for Yoruba nation attacked the Secretariat on Saturday.
Now that the government has intervened, the building where Onitiri-Abiola supposedly proclamated Yoruba nation has been demolished.
Sources claim that on Wednesday, the structure was destroyed.
Governor Seyi Makinde’s special adviser on security matters, Fatai Owoseni, confirmed the development to reporters on Wednesday.
