Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the recent earthquake in New Jersey and parts of New York, both in the United States of America.
In a post on his X handle on Friday, Sani said the world should repent as the Kingdom of God is at hand.
The former lawmaker also recalled that last year earthquake in Morocco killed thousands, which he said happened in an unlikely place.
He said: “Last year it was Earthquake in an unlikely place like Morocco that killed thousands. This year it happened in Taiwan and now the report of Earth tremors in New Jersey and parts of New York. The World should repent. The Kingdom of God is at hand.”
DAILY POST reports that an earthquake has rattled the Northeastern United States on Friday morning.
According to the US Geological Survey, the 4.8 magnitude quake was centered near Lebanon, N.J., west of New York City, at a depth of 1 kilometer.
There were no initial reports of damage by the city’s Fire Department at the time of filing this report
