Former Katsina United head coach, Usman Abdallah has reportedly emerged as a surprise candidate for the vacant managerial position at Gombe United.
Mohammed Babaganaru resigned from the post last week.

Abdullahi remains the preferred candidate, following his impressive antecedents.
The former Super Eagles assistant coach oversaw Katsina United’s promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League last season.
