Terem Moffi was on target but ended up on the losing side as OGC Nice fell to a 2-1 defeat against Toulouse.
Moffi opened scoring for Nice in the eighth minute.
It was the forward’s seventh goal of the season for Les Aiglons.
The 24-year-old has also provided two assists this season.
The Nigeria international was replaced by Gaetan Laborde in the 64th minute.
