Former Manchester United striker, Andy Cole, has shared his concerns over the form of Casemiro this season.
Casemiro joined Man United from Real Madrid last season and played a significant role in the team’s success, including scoring in the Carabao Cup final.
However, the Brazilian midfielder’s second season has been plagued with injuries and a lack of consistency.
Despite scoring the winner against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup fifth round recently, Cole remains unimpressed by Casemiro’s overall performance this term.
According to him, fans, as well as the football world in general, will be questioning why such an influential player has struggled in his second season.
Cole believes that no one can rest on their laurels in football as everyone is always questioning everything.
“You have to be concerned because he was such a big influence last season,” Cole told Betfred.
“So if you are such a big influence one season and then you are struggling the next, then of course everybody’s going to ask questions.
