Former England international, Jamie Redknapp, has labelled Manchester United midfielder, Casemiro, a “serial offender” after he was substituted at half-time in their 2-1 win at Luton Town on Sunday.
Casemiro picked up a yellow card in the 34th minute at Kenilworth Road.
The Brazilian subsequently made a series of questionable tackles before the break.
Casemiro was lucky to avoid a second booking for recklessly sliding in on Ross Barkley from behind.
United boss, Erik ten Hag, took off the 31-year-old during the break and introduced Scott McTominay.
“Yeah, this is a no-brainer. He’s already been booked, he’s a serial offender, he kept fouling time and time again,” Redknapp said on Sky Sports.
“He got away with it and he was very lucky. He could have got sent off right at the end.
“Once you’ve done that (been booked) you can’t commit fouls. You can’t make challenges like that.
“He gets so lucky. It could have been a (second) booking.”
