The People’s Elephant are understood to have opened talks with the player’s representatives on a purported move.
Collins showed a glimpse of his quality for the Promise Keepers during the first round of the Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The 23-year-old forward has netted twice in 17 appearances for Akwa United this season.
He joined the former NPFL champions from Sokoto United in 2022.
