AFCON: Ivorian Govt shuts schools, markets, banks for Nigeria clash

The Cote d’Ivoire Government ordered the closure of schools, markets and banks on Thursday (today) ahead of the national team’s clash against Nigeria.

The move is to ensure massive support for the Elephants against the Super Eagles.

The Alassanne Quattara Stadium, venue of the match, is expected to be filled to the brim for the game.

The encounter will kick-off at 5:00 pm local time (6pm) in Nigeria.

The Super Eagles held Equatorial Guinea to a 1-1 draw in their first game.
