JUST IN!!! Corporate Headquarters Of Small And Medium Enterprises Inaugurated

Senator Ekpeyong of Cross River participated in the inauguration of the small and medium Enterprise Development Agency held in the federal capital .

The event which took place On December 20th 2023, Senator Ekpeyong said “I participated in the inauguration of the Corporate Headquarters of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) alongside His Excellency Senator Kashim Shettima GCON, the Vice President of Nigeria. The event took place at the Idu Industrial Layout in Abuja”.

The significant event which was graced by Many dignitaries, Senator Ekpeyong in his report to his people of Cross River state noted,

“During this significant event, the Vice President also signaled the beginning of the Conditional Grant Scheme (CGS), a pioneering initiative by SMEDAN geared towards providing grants to nano entrepreneurs, with a primary goal of facilitating formalization and expanding financial inclusion opportunities for these small-scale business owners”.

“Other notable personalities present at the event included the Honorable Minister of Industry Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoaka-Aniite, as the Chief Host, alongside Mr. Charles Odii, the Director-General and CEO of SMEDAN, as the event’s host”.

This gathering marked a significant step towards bolstering the infrastructure and support systems for Nigeria’s small and medium-scale enterprises, highlighting the government’s commitment to their growth and development.
