Offor tasks Sporting Lagos players to keep fighting for away win

Sporting Lagos head coach, Paul Offor has encouraged his players to maintain the momentum as they continue their search for an away victory.

Paul Offor’s side held Abia Warriors to a 1-1 draw at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Wednesday.

Naibe Akpesiri’s early goal was cancelled out by Abia Warriors’ Paschal Nwabueze’s strike towards the end of the game.

Offor said the team was close to achieving their target but assured that they wouldn’t relent.

“The mission was to get an away victory against Abia Warriors,” he told the club’s media.

“We were so close to achieving that but we will keep working until it comes.”

Sporting Lagos currently occupies the ninth position on the NPFL table
