Musa scores maiden Sivasspor goal in Turkish Cup win

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa scored his maiden goal for Sivasspor in their Turkish Cup 2-1 victory against Arnavutkoy.

Musa was handed a rare start in the encounter played at the New Sivas 4 Eylul Stadium.

It was his second start of the season for Servet Cetin’s side.

Hakan Arslan converted a 19th minute penalty kick to put Sivasspor ahead.

Musa doubled Sivasspor’s lead five minutes before the half hour mark.

The 31-year-old’s last goal was in February 2022 in his former club, Fatih Karagümrük’s 2-1 win against Istanbul Basaksehir.
