Police Arrest Medical Doctor Who Harvested His Patients Organ And S£ll Them In Portharcourt

A medical doctor and owner of Hagi medical center located at Agboga Igwuruta market road, Port Harocurt in Rivers State, Dr. Happiness Enyinnaya Iheukeumere aka Dr. Hagi, has been arrested in connection with the d£ath of a 20-year-old lady identified as Racheal Sampson.

It was gathered that the suspect who was recently arrested for child traff#cking, was caught after he tried to play a fast game on the victim’s family. According to the sister of the deceased, Dr. Happiness had ordered a nurse to inform Racheal’s family that she d#ed as a result of a car accident.

She said, “On the 15th of November, 2023, an anonymous lady called us to inform us that my sister had di£d in a car crash. The informant sent us a fake number and told us that she got from the tip-off from that number. We asked her where my sister’s d£ad body was deposited and she couldn’t say.

We tried contacting the number she sent but it proved abortive. Then, my parents went to Aba in search of my late sister’s body since an accident happened there. But the police and medical personnel told my parents that no woman di£d at the scene of the accident. We reported the development to the police and they helped us to track the anonymous lady who gave us the tip-off.

The anonymous lady had claimed that she was POS agent and resided at Choba in Rivers State but that was false as we found out that she was a nurse. She was eventually arrested and confessed that Dr. Happiness had brought my sister to stay with her for one week but came to pick her up on Monday, November 13.

Two days later, he called the nurse and told her that my sister di£d while he was operating on her and instructed her not to tell the family. He ordered her to blacklist our numbers. We weren’t even aware that Racheal was pregnant and we never took her to the doctor’s hospital.

My sister had been communicating us through the nurse’s phone while she was at her place so we knew that the nurse had been lying about the entire situation. The police went in search of Dr. Happiness but he had absconded. His nurses were arrested and interrogated and they testified that Dr. Happiness was in the business of sElling babies as he was arrested last month for the crime. The nurses revealed that they were present when the suspect was operating on my sister to h@rvest the baby. They noted that my sister diEd after he gave her a strange injEction. We were told that Racheal was in p@ins till she d#ed.

The nurses confirmed that the baby was alive and he took the baby to an unknown destination. Fortunately, my mum caught him yesterday while he was boarding a vehicle and she raised an alarm. Dr, Happiness was arrested and the police asked him to provide my late sister’s corpse. He took them to the morgue where he dumped her and it was discovered that he registered her with another name – Chioma John aged 35.

He claimed he was her father and registered his name as Chinemerem John. When asked about the whereabouts of the baby, Dr. Happiness alleged that the baby d#ed and he dumped the corpse in a bush.

This man was arrested for child trafficking last month and somehow evaded the justice system. He k#lls his patients, h@rest their organs and sell them. For some of the patients that would survive, he would sEll their babies and lie to them that their babies d#ed. We urge the Rivers State government to ensure that justice is served on this matter.
