Ambazonia Leader Addresses Supporters, Explain Issues Surrounding Bakassi Peninsula

Cho Ayaba, leader of Ambazonia Governing Council, AGovC, has claimed that Bakassi Peninsula is in Ambazonia territory, hinting on the decision of the international court of justice, ICJ, judgement ceding the area to Cameroon.

He wondered why the Biafra Nations League, BnL, would be threatening Ambazonians, adding that his people cannot be moved by such threat.

Ayaba disclosed that Ambazonians first went into alliance with the BnL initially known as the Biafra Nations Youth League, BNYL, in 2016.

His broadcast comes after the leader of the Biafra Nations League, BnL, Princewill Richards threatened to attack Ambazonia fighters and sack their refugees from the Cross River and Akwa Ibom areas, according to him, he knows where Ambazonia fighters are hiding, Princewill statement came after a group the Interim Government of Ambazonia issued threat to kill former Super eagle stars Jay Jay Okocha and Daniel Amokachi if they honor invitation by Samuel Eto’o to move into Cameroon.
After the warning, Nollywood actor, Silvester Madu was attacked in Bamenda by suspected Ambazonia fighters, killing at least two crew members.

The BnL issued notice to sack all Ambazonians from its areas of influence.

BnL in a live broadcast where some of its officers spoke revealed an existing internal problem between them and Ambazonia Interim Government, they accused the Ambazonians of kidnapping business people of Biafra extraction in their territory.

The group revealed that it was responsible for the materials Ambazonians uses, warning them to steer clear from the border of Cross River State. They warned that no Ambazonian will be allowed to do business across the border in retaliation.

A day after, the BnL published their intentions to resolve the issue following Simon Ekpa’s intervention.

The Biafra Nations League is a pro Biafra group with operational base in Bakassi Peninsula, the group does not recognize Cameroon’s authority over the territory and violates international borders, they stated that the people of Bakassi are neither Cameroonians nor Ambazonians.
