Brazil football legend, Ronaldinho has said he wants Kylian Mbappe to win the Ballon d’Or award with Paris Saint-Germain.
Ronaldinho however admitted the 24-year-old could win playing for “any team”.
The prestigious award still eludes Mbappe, who finished in this year’s voting in third place — his best ranking to date.
“A great player like him can have the opportunity to win the Ballon d’Or in any team, but as I love PSG, I would like him to do it with PSG,” Ronaldinho said.
“I hope he will win it. He is a good friend and a very great player. I like his style of play.”
Mbappe’s future remains uncertain, with his current PSG deal set to run out in June 2024.
The France captain has been heavily tipped to join Real Madrid as a free agent
