Super Falcons captain, Onome Ebi has reflected on her return to the Nigeria Women Football League.
Ebi joined Naija Ratels for the start of the 2023-24 NWFL season.
The 40-year-old defender is making her return to the NWFL after 15 years of playing abroad.
Ebi stated that she felt comfortable adjusting to the league after years of absence.
“I never thought it would be this smooth, easy, and comfortable for me to adjust, but guess what, I am and enjoying every moment and even playing games back to back,” she wrote on her X handle.
“We finally had our first win against Adamawa Queens, we keep going stronger.
“Yes I’ve been enjoying this ride so far and I want to use this opportunity to say a very big thank you to the president of Naija Ratels FC and the entire team for making this a memorable and enjoyable journey for me to come back home and truly experience and enjoying the league again.”
