‘Investigations revealed that the suspect was an employee of the deceased and worked at her water plant.

‘In the course of his duties, the suspect caused damage to a water pipe. The deceased garnished his wages to repair the damaged pipes.

Angered by the situation, the suspect struck the deceased woman on the head with an iron rod, causing her death.

Upon realizing that the madam was dead, the suspect stole her cell phone, ATM card and a bag containing cash and fled the scene.

The long arm of the law caught up with him and he was arrested several weeks after the crime. He later confessed to the crime and is scheduled to be arraigned in court.
