Gombe United get executive support

The Gombe State Government has expressed satisfaction with the progress of Gombe United in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Ibrahim Njodi, made this known during a visit to the team’s training on Wednesday.

Njodi reassured the Savannah Scorpions of the government’s continuous support.

He also gave out one million naira to motivate the team.

“I am happy that we have made progress in the little time that we have all been here, despite some challenges,” he stated during his visit.

“I want to assure you of the governor’s support. He is the number one fan of the club, and this administration will do everything to continue supporting the club.”

Gombe United will trade tackles with Kwara United in their next league game.
