The Senator Representing Enugu West Senatorial District has been appointed as the new Minority Whip of the Senate.
The announcement was officially made today, Tuesday, 21 November 2023 at the Senate plenary by the president of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
His emergence was sequel to the removal of Senator Darlington Nwokocha (LP: Abia), former Minority Whip by the Court of Appeal.
He was also appointed as the Vice Chairman of Senate Commitee of NDDC.
