Nigerian fans will not be able to support the national team against Lesotho in big numbers, as they chose to stay away from the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Despite the gate fee being pegged at N1,000, the stadium is scanty as the 2026 World Cup qualifier kicked off.
The supporters can also not watch the match on TV.
A tweet from the Super Eagles official Twitter handle before the game read: “Where to watch? No Problem. Visit http://plus.fifa.com”.
This has left fans with no option than to either stream the game, or follow live tweets from the handle.
