Manchester United Defender, Victor Lindelof has said that the Red Devils need to score more goals to improve further following their Premier League 1-0 win against Luton Town over the weekend.
Recall that Lindelof scored the only goal of the encounter to give Erik Ten Hag’s side all three points against Luton at Old Trafford.
Man United kept 65 per cent possession and managed 15 shots but only managed to convert one of those chances.
However, Lindelof wants Man United to improve on scoring more goals going forward.
“We want to score more goals and that is the next step for us. Right now the most important thing is the three points and the result,” the Swedish star said, via the Irish Examiner.
“But after that, we have to keep going, keep working and building and hopefully we can score goals, close the game and not make it difficult for ourselves. But it is step by step.”
