TalkSPORT host and former Manchester United star Alan Brazil has revealed that the Red Devils will sack manager Erik ten Hag if his struggling team fails to beat Luton Town in Saturday’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag has presided over a miserable start to the 2023–24 season, which culminated in Wednesday night’s disastrous UEFA Champions League 3-2 defeat against FC Copenhagen.
Ten Hag’s side currently sit in 8th position on the Premier League table with 18 points from 11 games.
“Manchester United have to beat Luton; if they don’t, Ten Hag is gone. He’s a goner,” Brazil said, as quoted by Metro UK.
“He won’t go, from what I hear, before December. But after December 1, he’s in big danger. I don’t think it is going to happen until after December so I am talking about financial (reasons). I have nothing against Ten Hag but I honestly believe they are not playing for him and I think he’s lost the dressing room. I am sure he’s lost it.”
