Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface has claimed the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award for the third consecutive time.
IgbereTV reports that Boniface won the award in August and September.
The Nigerian striker scored one goal and provided one assist in three outings for Bayer Leverkusen in October.
The 22-year-old had 15 attempts on goal during the month—a league-high—taking his tally to 54 for the campaign, well ahead of Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane (36) who has the next-most attempts across the German top flight.
Boniface beat Xavi Simons and Brajan Gruda to the award.
He has scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 14 appearances across all competitions for Die Werkself this season
