Sporting Lagos forward, Junior Lokosa believes the club has the needed personnel to withstand the challenges in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The modest side is making its maiden appearance in the top flight.
Sporting Lagos has recorded three wins, two draws and two defeats from seven games this term.
Lokosa believes that the return of injured players will make the team more competitive.
“We have a couple of players that can help us go far and challenge in the league,” Lokosa told newsmen in Lagos.
“All our injured players are coming back and it’s a very good one for us.
“This is a tough league but we have the quality to do well and compete with the best teams.”
Paul Offor’s side currently occupy seventh position on the table.
They will take on Lobi Stars in a matchday eight fixture at the Lafia City Stadium this weekend
