Ola Aina’s stunning strike inspired Nottingham Forest to a 2-0 victory against Aston Villa at the City Ground.
The Nigeria international gave the Tricky Trees the lead with a superb low effort from outside the box as early as the fifth minute.
It was Aina’s first-ever goal for Nottingham Forest.
The versatile defender has featured in eight league games for the Tricky Trees this season.
His international teammate, Taiwo Awoniyi was also in action for Forest in the game.
Aston Villa goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez poorly palmed Orel Mangala’s swerving long-range shot into his own net on 47 minutes for Forest’s second goal of the afternoon.
Forest climbed to 12th position on the table following the win
