Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has said poor defending and failure to convert chances made his side lose to Remo Stars.
The Oluyole Warriors were defeated 3-0 by Remo Stars in the week six fixture at the Remo Stars Stadium on Wednesday.
Ogunbote stressed that the team will get it right in their next game against Niger Tornadoes on Sunday in Ibadan.
“The game has been played, won and lost, we take the positives from it,” he told the club’s official website
“I think we had some careless moments, the boys didn’t play badly, but we were unable to defend well enough to at least secure a point.
“We will go back and prepare for the next game. As you can see, the challenge we had was the final touch, we’ve been working on it and we will continue to work on it until perfection is achieved.”
Shooting Stars dropped down to third position on the table following the defeat
