Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has vowed to work on his team’s attack despite their impressive start to the season.
The Oluyole Warriors defeated Doma United 3-1 in Ibadan on Sunday.
Ogunbote’s side currently occupy second position on the table behind Rangers.
The experienced tactician admitted that there was still room for improvement despite their current form.
“If a team scored three goals, even if we have not played well, you still need to give us some kudos. We are coming up gradually in this aspect, it does not mean we have gotten a perfect solution,” he told the club’s official website.
“We will keep training and retraining, making sure that the art of goal scoring continues. The essence of the game is to score goals and prevent goals from being scored, so if we can score and prevent the opponents from scoring, I think the attackers have done very well.”
Shooting Stars will face Remo Stars in the South West derby in Ikenne on Wednesday
