President Bola Tinubu told his appointees that their jobs have been secured after the Supreme Court judgement on Thursday.
The Supreme Court had in an unanimous judgement upheld Tinubu’s election in the 2023 presidential poll.
The judgement followed appeals filed by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
Atiku and Obi approached the apex court to appeal the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, which dismissed their petitions against Tinubu’s election.
Reacting after the judgement, Tinubu told his appointees, “Your jobs have been secured.”
