Casemiro impressed at Old Trafford after arriving in the summer of 2022.
But the Brazilian has struggled for form this season, with opposition managers deliberately targeting him.
It has now emerged that Casemiro ‘regrets’ making the move from Spain.
It is understood that his time at United could be “short-lived”, with the 31-year-old concerned over “institutional instability” at the club.
United are also “not happy with” Casemiro and are interested in signing Joao Neves from Benfica as a replacement
