Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has named former Aston Villa attacker Juan Pablo Angel as his first idol in football.
Grealish joined Aston Villa in 2002 and rose through the ranks to become a regular first-team player.
The 28-year-old scored 32 goals and provided 43 assists in 213 senior appearances across competitions for Aston Villa.
He later joined Premier League champions Manchester City for £100 million in the summer of 2021.
Despite his switch to the Etihad, the England international is seemingly still close to his former club.
In a post via his Instagram story on Monday, Grealish shared a string of photos, and in one of those photos, he was pictured with Angel, where he wrote: “My first ever hero. If you know then you know.
“There’s only one Juan Pablo Angel.”
