Victor Aghalise, 27, a hard drug vendor, was apprehended by members of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad while he was selling drivers in the state an illegal substance that was allegedly coming from Arizona.
The suspect was taken into custody on Wednesday, October 18, during a patrol on the Gbagada-Oshodi Expressway, according to a post shared on the RRS handle. 93 wraps of Arizona were found in Aghalise’s bag, according to RRS.
According to RRS, additional inquiries resulted in the apprehension of Ifeanyi Erem, 60, who also acknowledged providing Aghalise with the material for resale near the Ilupeju segment of the Gbagada-Oshodi Expressway in Lagos.
Erem’s pocket yielded seven wraps of Arizona as well.
The suspects should be charged with a crime right away, according to RRS Commander CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi’s directive.
Additionally, he forewarned hard drug dealers and the drivers who supported them that they would face legal action if they were detained anywhere in the state.
