In Lake Chad, NAF airstrikes eliminate terrorists

According to the Nigerian Air Force, its airstrikes in Borno State’s vicinity of Lake Chad have killed a number of terrorists.

This was announced in a statement by Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, Director of Public Relations and Information for the NAF.

Terrorists were neutralized, according to the Nigerian Air Force, Boko Haram, and Islamic States of West Africa Province, after air strikes on the outskirts of Lake Chad in Borno State destroyed their hideouts, their buildings, and their strategic logistics base in the area.

According to Gabkwet, the airstrikes completely destroyed the terrorists’ structures, strategic logistics base, and underground lairs.

He continued, saying that the attacks on Tumbun Fulani and Tumbun Shitu between September 27 and September 30 were carried out as a result of confirmation of the terrorists’ activities, which posed a threat to military formations and law-abiding Nigerians living in the affected areas.

Similar strikes were also carried out at Tumbun Shitu after buildings thought to be terrorist hideouts were spotted hidden beneath dense vegetation, according to a statement released on Monday by Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the NAF’s director of public relations and information.

The location was also approached by three-gun trucks carrying terrorists. Thus, it became essential to attack the target. Following the airstrike, it was discovered that the trucks had been destroyed and several terrorists had been taken out. “.

After receiving confirmation of the terrorists’ activities, which posed a threat to military formations and law-abiding Nigerians residing in the target areas, Gabkwet claimed that Tumbun Fulani and Tumbun Shitu were attacked between September 27 and September 30.

In two gun trucks hidden behind bushes at Tumbun Fulani, he claimed, the terrorists were seen loading jerrycans.
