Shooting Stars captain, Malomo Taofeek, has described the team’s winning start to the Nigeria Premier Football League season as a good omen for the club.
Ayomide Adekunle and Anayor Ogbonna’s goals were enough to give the Oluyole Warriors maximum points against the former champions.
David Onovo reduced the deficit for Plateau United.
Malomo expressed optimism that the team can better their performance in their next game.
“I believe it is a good thing for us winning the game today (Saturday) and we are taking this positive result to the next game against Bendel Insurance,” he told the club’s media.
“Insurance are also a good team, but I believe we can get something out of it when we get to their home ground next weekend
