The Special Forces Troops of the Joint Task Force Northwest Operation HADARIN DAJI under the command of the General officer Commanding 8 Division Nigerian Army have rescued over 15 kidnapped victims in Zamfara State.
In Kayan Boggo village in the state’s Bukkuyum Local Government Area, it was reportedly successful on September 25, 2023.
The troops quickly mobilized and set up a blocking position at a potential route that the bandits were thought to use.
Contact was made and unspecified numbers of the bandits were neutralized, forcing them to flee and abandon the kidnapped victims.

Military sources said that the victims were handed over to the district head of Gwashi to reunite the victims with their families.
