Two siblings were kidnapped by an unidentified woman in front of their home near St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Makurdi, Benue State.
Benedict Kpaakpa, 2, and Philomena Kpaakpa, 4, were kidnapped on September 24, 2023, a Sunday.

The woman, Wonov Tersoo Felix, paid N50 for a carton of soy milk and gave the kids a N500 bill, but they received no change.
The woman instructed the kids to accompany her as she went to a nearby store to make another purchase and give them their balance.
The siblings were last seen at that moment.
Benedict Kpaakpa, age 2, and Philomena Kpaakpa, age 4, were taken by a woman.
The incident happened early on September 24, 2023, at their residence near St. Peter’s Catholic church, according to Felix.
The woman asked them to follow her to a nearby shop so that she could buy something and give them change after she gave them 500 for 50 soy milk and left without giving them change.
They were nowhere to be found until shortly after their mother arrived from morning mass and started looking for them. Please assist the family in spreading this information to the security organizations that operate at different checkpoints so that they will be on the lookout for anyone traveling with these kinds of children.
